Merge PDFs without uploading to a server

Many online PDF mergers require you to upload invoices, contracts, or tax forms to a third-party server. This tool merges pages with pdf-lib entirely in your browser tab. You need at least two files; arrows set the order; the download is named merged.pdf.

Drop two or more PDFs, reorder them if needed, and download a single combined file. Use it when you need a private PDF merger for work documents you would rather not send off-device.

An open password still fails. Permission-locked PDFs often load because ignoreEncryption is set in this tab. Interactive form fields may not survive the way they do in Acrobat — check the download before you file it.

How to use Merge PDF

How do I set the merge order?
Add order is the default. Use the up/down arrows on each file to reorder. You need at least two PDFs; the download is always named merged.pdf.
What about password-protected PDFs?
An open password (the one that blocks viewing) still fails — we never send the file to a cracker. Permission-locked PDFs (print/copy flags) often load because pdf-lib is called with ignoreEncryption in this tab. If merge throws, one file is corrupted or still encrypted for opening.
Does merge flatten forms or drop bookmarks?
It copies pages. Interactive form fields and some optional metadata may not survive the way they do in Acrobat. Check the download before you file it. Split first if you only needed a range from one of the packs.
Are the PDFs uploaded to merge them?
No. Each file is read with arrayBuffer() and combined with pdf-lib in the browser.
